A Caoa Chery acabou de completar seu primeiro ano de operação no Brasil, e já sonha alto para 2019. Na noite desta terça-feira (11), a montadora sino-brasileira anunciou os preços do Tiggo 5x, um dos modelos mais importantes para o próximo ano. A versão de entrada T terá valor inicial de R$ 86.990, e a topo de linha TXS custará R$ 96.990. O utilitário já está sendo produzido em Anápolis (GO) e deverá responder por um total de 9 mil unidades.


Segundo executivos da Caoa Chery, o ano que vem será muito positivo. A empresa projeta emplacar cerca de 38 mil carros entre janeiro e dezembro, volume quase inimaginável no fim de 2017, quando o grupo Caoa assumiu a operação da marca chinesa, que estava à beira do colapso no país. Com o lançamento do Tiggo 5x, a montadora passa a ter quatro modelos em sua gama — estão à venda o pequeno QQ, o crossover Tiggo 2 e o sedã Arrizo 5.

Motor turbo e muito recheio



Os planos da Caoa Chery estão tão acelerados, que a empresa anunciou atualizações sobre a rede. A meta é chegar a 111 concessionários em 2019. Este parece ser o segredo do sucesso da Caoa. Do lado da Chery virão os produtos, e outro modelo já está confirmado para janeiro: o Tiggo 7, SUV de porte médio que também foi mostrado no Salão do Automóvel de São Paulo. O lançamento será em janeiro e a produção ao lado do Tiggo 5x, no interior de Goiás.


O trio Arrizo 5, Tiggo 5x e Tiggo 7 é equipado com o mesmo 1.5 turbo já convertido a flex. O motor gera potências de 147 cv (gasolina) e 150 cv (etanol), e 19,4 kgfm de torque com ambos os combustíveis — no 5x, o torque chega a 21,4 kgfm. O que muda é o câmbio: o sedã usa o automático CVT, enquanto os SUVs trazem transmissão de dupla embreagem e seis marchas. No Tiggo 5X, a lista será farta e incluí teto solar duplo, câmera 360°, freio de estacionamento eletrônico e rodas aro 18.
