Fotos: Divulgação As primeiras imagens oficiais do GT-R Nismo vazam na internet pelo site dos nossos brother´s da Car and Driver norte-americana. A Nismo bancou o cientista maluco e tentou deixar o seu monstro, o Nissan GT-R, ainda mais forte e fazer juz ao apelido de Godzilla, o Rei dos Monstros. A experiência deu a luz ao GT-R Nismo, que iremos conhecer pessoalmente no Salão de Tóquio (Japão), no final desta semana.

A evolução do GT-R elevou os 553 cv e 64 kgfm do motor 3.8 V6 biturbo para 603 cv e 66,3 mkgf de torque. Os engenheiros da Nismo transplantaram os turbos maiores do GT-R GT3 de corrida, trocaram os sistemas de admissão e escapamento e mudaram o tempo de ignição. A Nissan admite que se segurou no trabalho e limitou o potência, para que os compradores não tivessem que trocar a transmissão com frequência.



Não é um carro para o dia-a-dia. A suspensão e os amortecedores estão mais duros, ao ponto da Nissan renomear os ajustes de Comfort, Normal e R para Track, Race e Race Plus. As rodas dianteiras estão meia polegada (1,27 cm) mais largas e usam pneus 255/40 RF-20 Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT 600 DSST, de maior aderência.

Para melhorar a aerodinâmica, o GT-R ganhou apêndices aerodinâmicos com novos parachoques dianteiros e traseiros, saias laterais e uma asa traseira ainda maior.

E quanto a briga de monstros? A Nissan diz que seu objetivo era apenas bater a marca de 7:10 marcada pelo GT-R comum em Nürburgring Nordschleife. Claro que o inimigo era outro: o Porsche 918 Spyder, atual recordista entre os carros de produção, com a marca de 6:57.

Se fosse um filme de kaiju, o Godzilla teria perdido a luta final. Mesmo usando uma versão ainda mais leve do GT-R, ainda sem nome oficial mas que será vendida, e comandado pelo ex-campeão do FIA GT1 Michael Krumm, o GT-R Nismo marcou 7:08.69.

Este modelo troca algumas peças por versões de fibra de carbono para reduzir 65 kg do seu peso total. Os amortecedores foram substituídos por unidades ajustadas manualmente, para aguentar o piso irregular de Nür. A Nissan promete que o GT-R Nismo será vendido por menos de US$ 200 mil (em torno de R$ 445 mil).

Pois é, custa o dobro pra andar 2 s mais rápido numa pista do tamanho de Nordschleife?

Sebastien Buemi went first. "I did a 7:12 on my first lap," he says. "I stopped to take some fuel out to reduce the weight. I was on the way to do a lap under 7:10 – it was a fast one – but on the back straight it started to run out of fuel. I got back to the paddock but the lap was ruined. I would like to congratulate Michael Krumm for achieving the targeted record."

Michael Krumm went last. His first lap was 7:10. On his next lap, Krumm crossed the finish line at 7:08.679 – posting the record for the fastest-ever time for a factory GT-R on the Nurburgring.

Krumm credits the Nissan GT-R NISMO's* prowess in handling with as its strength on the race track and the road. "For a car to be fun you need a good ratio between the power and the grip in the corners," he says. "The Nissan GT-R NISMO* can be really fast with respect to its power because its balance is superb. That balance is a very important factor in the driving enjoyment."

In the end, Krumm's run in the Nissan GT-R Nismo* lapped the Nurburgring 10 seconds faster than the previous Nissan GT-R best – 7:18 recorded in October 2012.

O impressionante é que se trata de um coupe de 4 lugares com bom espaço interno e um V6... Não é um Porsche fodástico ou um Veyron tunado mas me parece ser a LOT OF FUN!
